- Original passport (passport must be valid for at least 6 months after the end of the trip, not issued more than 10 years before the date of submission, signed);
- Valid and expired passport (if any, original and photocopies of pages with visas to Schengen countries, UK, USA, Canada, Australia or New Zealand);
- Visa application form (complete online, print out and sign);
- 2 passport photos (white background, face-to-face, eyes unobscured & unedited);

How to apply for a German visa for families with children under 18 years old?
Minors (who have not turned 18) should usually be accompanied by their parents, other family members (grandparents, aunts, uncles) or with a person in charge. Minors are given special protection by law and have limited rights and obligations.
► Therefore, when applying for a German visa for a child under 18 years old, the following special points must be kept in mind:
+ For each child, 2 separate visa applications signed by the custodians (usually both father and mother). Children turning 16 years old must manually sign their application.
All children who turn 12 years old when applying must be fingerprinted. Please note that children under 12 years of age must also be present in person at the time of application.
► In addition, the following documents must be added to the German visa application package:
+ Declaration of consent of all custodians (newly made within the last 6 months, original and copy
) Child’s birth certificate (original and copy)
+ 01 photocopy of the first page of the national/regular passport of the person signing the consent form.
