CONDITIONS FOR VISA TO VISIT KOREA
In case the guarantor visits relatives:
- Those who are living and studying in Korea have a D2 visa for University, Master’s and Doctoral programs in Korea and have stayed in Korea for at least 6 months.
- F2 and F5 visa holders are living legally in Korea.
- Cases with per capita income 2 times higher than that of Koreans living legally under the D5, D7, D8, D9 visa.
- Those who follow the investment category in Korea with a minimum capital of 300 million Won (about more than 6 billion VND) and have resided in Korea for at least 6 months.
For the sponsored person under the family visit visa:
- Parents, siblings who are studying at universities, masters, and doctorates in Korea.
- Parents, siblings have a daughter/son married to a Korean.
- Those who want to visit their husband/wife’s family for a short time.
- Parents, siblings, spouses and children of people who are working under E7.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUBJECT FOR VISA TO VISIT KOREA
1. For applicants whose relatives are studying at University, Master in Korea
The inviter side (Korean side) needs to prepare:
- Original invitation letter signed and full name (with signature similar to the signature on the passport)
- Guarantee letter signed and full name (with signature similar to the signature on the passport)
- Photocopy of passport with the inviter’s signature
- Copy of 2 sides of foreign residence card (valid for more than 3 months)
- Proof of study (certificate of studying at school, transcript)
- If you are working, you must have a certificate of occupation and a copy of the labor contract.
The invited side (Vietnamese side) needs to prepare:
- Visa documents to visit Korea are required to have an F1 visa application
- Card photo size 3.5×4.5cm, white shirt, taken on white t-shirt
- Original ordinary passport with 1 notarized photocopy
- Documents proving the family relationship with the inviter: English translation notarized by the state judiciary
- Birth certificate of the inviter (and the invitee if the invitee is a brother or sister);
- Household book (with names of both parties);
- Marriage certificate (if sponsoring husband or wife);
- Citizen ID photo 2 sides (no need to notarize)
